*West Valley Inn only offers an adult pricing. We offer two prices as a convenience to our valued clients. The banquet is not a fundraiser for DFA, it is a celebration of our dancers! Prices are the best we can do!

We celebrate the achievements of students who have studied dance 5 years or more.
Medallions, trophies, and special awards, and DFA scholarships are given during this special moment. Induction into the BANANA SPLIT CLUB for dancers who can "do a split" is held. Special recognition is given to our GRADUATING SENIORS & their parents from all studios.

TICKETS GO ON SALE MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2012!(During regular studio hours)
1. TICKET SALES ARE LIMITED! TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.*CASH OR CHECKS TO DANCE FOR ART
2. When you buy tickets, put all names you are buying tickets for on the Seating Chart Form. This will enable your group to sit together.
3. If you would like to specify who you want to sit with, see the Seating Chart Form.
4. Graduating Senior Company Members and Senior Company will sit together.
5. All tickets purchased after Saturday March 10th, are subject to open seating.
6. *It is MANDATORY for all company members to attend.

AWARDS AND MORE...Banquet events to participate in:

GRAND MARCH PRODUCTION NUMBER!!
Students that have LEVEL I and up are invited to be in the GRAND MARCH Routine that starts off the awards banquet on March 25! Choreography will be learned in class.
ALL COMPANY MEMBERS WILL BE IN THE GRAND MARCH.

The students must wear:
*Red Carolyn Dutra T-shirt-if you need a shirt, please do not wait until the last minute to purchase.
*Black Jazz Pants
*Black Dance shoes or sneakers (any black shoe will do)
*Hair done neatly and pretty, a little bit of makeup

ONE Rehearsal will be held at the WARWICK STUDIO SATURDAY, MARCH 24, 3:00-4:30pm
*Anyone wishing to participate MUST attend this rehearsal! Do not be late!
*Participants should arrive at the West Valley Inn no later than 11:15am to rehearse on March 25th . DO NOT BE LATE!!
*Only participating students are allowed in the ballroom, parents & friends will be admitted at 12:00 and may wait outside.

STUDENT SHOWCASE

*get together with your dance friends and strut your stuff at the awards banquet!
Students should get together on their own and explore how the creative process works!

AUDITIONS: Friday, March 2, 2012, WARWICK STUDIO, 5:45pm

IMPORTANT CONDITIONS:
*please sign up in the office by Friday, March 2nd.
*all routines must be completed by audition day, and be rehearsed on your own.
*wear your costume to the audition.
*routines may not exceed 2 minutes.
*music must be on a CD, properly labeled, all cuts must be made.
*all participants must be students of the Carolyn Dutra Dance Studio and have danced for 5 years or more at the CDDS.
*all participants who are chosen to perform in the showcase, must purchase an awards banquet ticket.
*we do not encourage solo routines.
*all participants who are chosen must be able to attend rehearsal on Saturday, March 24, 2012.
*we encourage dancers who have not yet performed in the Student Showcase to audition!
