DANCE CAMP I
MONDAY, JULY 16 - FRIDAY, JULY 20

A Creative movement class which will introduce students to basic ballet, tap, and tumbling, emphasis on developing gross motor skills, muscle control, balance, listening and leadership skills. Students will also engage in art activities related to dance history, nutrition, and more! All supplies are provided. The class is taught by Ms. Dutra and her staff and has been specifically designed for two and a half year olds to four and a half year olds. Photography and video is welcome on the last day of class.

DANCE ATTIRE: Long sleeve black leotard Pink tights, Pink ballet slippers, Black Tap Shoes Hair pulled back off the neck, neatly.

Through a variety of activities, students will have opportunities to participate more fully in the dance experience; learning, gaining confidence, & receiving individual encouragement and support of the staff in all their efforts. In addition to dance classes focusing on ballet, tap, jazz, creative movement, and tumbling, students will engage in activities related to dance history, proper nutrition, basic anatomy, and modeling. As part of their dance art project, the students will create a scrapbook based upon the week’s activities. All supplies are provided! The week will culminate with a short presentation for to showcase the TWO routines the dancers have learned! Photography and video is welcome on this day.

DANCE ATTIRE: Long sleeve black leotard Pink tights, Pink ballet slippers, Black Tap Shoes (ballet shoes may be worn as jazz shoes & tap shoes. Hair pulled back off the neck, neatly.
*Dancers should bring a snack and something to drink.

MONDAY, JULY 23 - FRIDAY, JULY 27

JUNIORS - AGES 9-12; 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
SENIORS - AGES 13 & UP; 9:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m.
$265.00/WEEK

An intensive dance program featuring master classes taught by guest teachers in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip hop and more! This program will offer dancers the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best. In addition, classes in Zumba, Ballroom, Modeling, Yoga, Cheer dance, Acrobatics, Voice, Theater, Dance History and more will be offered.

*anyone wishing to audition for a company should attend this week!
DANCE ATTIRE: Solid colored leotard, pink tights or suntan tights, appropriate shoes. Jazz shorts and jazz pants are acceptable for particular classes. Hair pulled back off the neck, neatly.
*Dancers should bring snacks, lunch and plenty to drink.
