Dress Rehearsal for all studios will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2011 at Rhode Island College. Times TBA. There are NO CLASSES at the studios on this day as we will all be at dress rehearsal!

*It is not mandatory to participate, however, most students do!

Tickets become available online at the RIC website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, instead of the usual Monday-Friday 10-4.

PLEASE NOTE: The online ticketing service will charge the ticket buyer a $3.50 per ticket convenience fee, as any online ticket service does.
This fee goes directly to the online service NOT to CDDS or RIC.
You do not have to buy online. You still have the option of buying directly through the Box Office if they want to avoid this fee.

RECITAL CHECKLIST
___Please label your child's name in everything!
___Pack all costumes and accessories in a bag or garment bag with your child's name. Put all accessories for the costume in a Ziploc bag with the child's name on it and hang it on the hanger with the costume. Do the same for bobby pins, makeup etc. *New CDDS Garment Bags available for $25.00!
___Child should arrive in their costume, hair and makeup done.
You will be notified in class which costume to wear first (it will be posted online as well!)
___Hair should be in a NEAT and SECURE low bun. If your dancer needs help, there will be backstage moms to assist! Your dancer also needs makeup-mascara, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick. This is show-biz!
Getting dolled up is FUN!
___Most headpieces go on the right hand side. Bows above bun. Use alligator clips to secure headpieces.
___Most straps should go in a V. Bring extra pins!

The NO'S
NO UNDERWEAR. All students are wearing camisoles (flesh colored leotards that dancers wear underneath their costumes so they are fully clothed at all times.) PS-Do NOT wear underwear under leotards either!
NO JEWELRY. If earrings cannot be taken off, please cover them with a piece of band aid.
NO BODY GLITTER, NO TEMPORARY TATOOS.
NO NAILPOLISH.
NO SHINY TIGHTS OR PANTYHOSE. Dancers must wear the tights stated under the dancerwear requirements for the studio. If your child is in the wrong pair of tights, she will not be allowed on stage.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. Follow these instructions so that we are able to maintain our high level of quality!

RECITAL
___PLAIN animal crackers; WATER ONLY.
___Pack something comfortable for your child to change into after their performance. ALL dancers will come out at the end of the show for the PARADE OF DANCERS. When you go to pick them up backstage, you can change them into their comfortable clothing if you like!
___Child should be brought to the BACK of Roberts Auditorium (the Forman Theater entrance)
30 minutes before the start of the show.
___Security-The parent designated to pick up your child will be able to do so AT THE END OF THE SHOW ONLY. Security measures are in place for your child's safety.

The children are able to watch the show on a backstage monitor!
