PVD Fest

Carolyn Dutra Dance Studio has performed at five PVD Fests! We love being part of this Rhode Island community arts event!

CDDS performs at PVD Fest Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 1:30pm @ South Water Stage

Stage Location: South Water Stage
South Water Stage is located across from 500 South Main Street. In the lot by South Main St/Dollar St/South Water Street In the old Sunflower Field next to Plant City.
(This is a new location and stage from past years.)

• Contact the Studio Google Line if you need any assistance 401-288-1232. This line is only active 1 hour before the performance.
• We perform sprinkle or shine :) If we have to cancel the performance we will send a text and email.

COMPANY DANCERS ARRIVAL DETAILS:

• Meet at stage at 12:45pm.
• Arrive wearing full stage makeup, hair in slicked back low bun, rhinestone earrings, first costume (see show order below) with warmup jacket and black leggings on over it, dance shoes on inside slides.
• Bring a water bottle if in multiple routines, nothing else.
• Leave other belongings with parent.

PRESCHOOL/PRIMARY DANCERS ARRIVAL DETAILS:

• Meet at stage at 1:10pm. 
• Arrive wearing full stage makeup, hair in neat low bun,  costume, Ballet shoes on inside slides.
• Parent hold water bottle and belongings. 

Company dancers must be able to attend all rehearsals to participate in the show. The Company Calendar was consulted and we did the best we can to consider all 70 dancers. See rehearsal schedule below. If you are unable to attend any of these rehearsals and cannot be in the show please email us  by 8/14.

Preschool -Under The Sea

• Warwick Monday/Wednesday/Saturday, Cranston Monday/Thursday, Smithfield Monday/Saturday

Both routines wear Ballet Shoes

To join this performance you must do the following:

1. Have your full Recital costume.
2. Enroll in September 2023-2024 session by August 17, 2023
3. Enroll in "PVD Fest Primary I Like To Move It" or "PVD Fest Preschool Under The Sea" class by August 17, 2023
4. Attend rehearsal Thursday, August 31 4:30-5pm at Warwick Studio. See email for videos to rehearse from home.
