CDDS Company

Company Calendar
Carolyn Dutra Dance Studio Company Dancers are a group of young students who show promise and an enthusiasm for dance!  Company Dancers demonstrate an extra commitment to dance and involvement in Carolyn Dutra Dance Studio.  Company Dancers train under Miss Carolyn and her staff, as well as master teachers from around the country! Students have studied with the Moscow Ballet, Radio City Rockette's, So You Think You Can Dance Contestants, Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey Dance Company and more!

As a performance based Studio, Company dancers have the opportunity to perform at various events and venues throughout the world! Students have performed in Disneyworld, Europe, Carnegie Hall, Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships, Dunkin Donuts Center, RI Convention Center, Hershey Park and many many other amazing venues! Every other year, Company dancers participate in a competition for the performance opportunity.
  • Company dancers prioritize dance as their main activity. While well rounded, the expectation is that dance comes first and is not missed for anything else (other than an educational or religious requirement).
  • Dependent on level, Company dancers study 5-10 hours per week, 2-3 days per week and classes are held at all three Studio locations
  • Company classes include Ballet, Tap, Jazz & Contemporary
  • Additional recreational classes can be taken for additional tuition
  • Company tuition includes all Company classes and rehearsals.
  • Company dancers must attend our Summer Intensive (4th full week of July) and 5 weeks of Company Monday classes.
  • Extra choreography and rehearsal hours are announced as scheduled and often held on weekends
  • Additional performances throughout the year (often on weekends) in addition to December Holiday performance and June Recital.
  • Good attendance to class is imperative.
  • Upholding the integrity of CDDS inside and outside the Studio is expected
  • Company Tuition fees apply. No discounts or scholarships eligible.
  • Number of routines vary dependent on level. Company Costume Fee applies.
  • Company families must fundraise for Dance for Art as there is much support given to Company dancers by DFA
