Upcoming Dance Education Opportunities
Should any issue arise at an event without CDDS staff present, please reach out to CDDS directly instead of contacting the event’s outside staff.

Titans Dance Convention - Registration CLOSED.
February 1, 2026 - Boston Marriot Newton
  • DROP OFF: 7:45am
  • PICK UP: Parents arrive 3:45pm, closing show & awards begins at 4pm. We are waiting to hear back from the convention if parents are allowed to attend this ceremony. 
  • Students remain in the building for the duration of the convention until pickup at the end.
  • Arrive dressed in black leggings, any color leotard/mid length crop top, CDDS Warm-Up jacket on (tan tights optional). Hair should be neat, secure and out of your face (ponytail, bun, braids, etc.) and light makeup. No jewelry besides small stud earrings.
  • Bring ALL dance shoes including character heels if you have them (clean and no holes). Some combos may be stylized and call for a certain type of shoe.
  • There is a 1.5 hour scheduled lunch block. Pack a healthy lunch and sealable water bottle. Nothing messy or with a strong odor. Students cannot leave the building to get lunch (ie. no take out/delivery). We will congregate in the lobby to each lunch together, no eating in ballrooms. 
  • Bring your own medications as needed (ie. EpiPen) 
  • CDDS Staff will be present for the entire day and can be reached via the CDDS Google Line starting at 7am if needed. 401-288-1232
  • As always, remember dance class etiquette. No talking while teacher is talking, making eye contact with teacher, comradery with dancers from other studios, keeping a positive attitude even when it’s hard, cellphone should be off and tucked away in your back. 
  • Remember Miss Carolyn’s two mottos… “I can do this, I will do this!” - “If you learn one new thing, or have one good feeling, it was a day well spent!” :)
